Our Team.
Our Summer Social staff are a dynamic crew, with expertise in teaching, behaviour intervention, speech-language therapy, and special education. Before camp starts, each group leader goes through an intensive training program with our directors, so they’re ready to to support our campers in every way possible.
Plus, our camp directors are hands-on throughout the day, providing guidance and support to both campers and leaders, making sure everyone has an amazing experience!
Nikki Fung, MS, BCBA
Camp Director
Meet Nikki!

Nikki is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst with a Master’s in Applied Behaviour Analysis from The Sage Colleges. With over 10 years of experience, she’s worked with kids on the autism spectrum from early intervention all the way through their teen years. Nikki is also a licensed therapist in the Early Start Denver Model and has trained as a Social Skills therapist under Jenny Sojat. She continues to run social skills groups with So Social during the school year.

Passionate and hands-on, Nikki loves helping kids grow, learn, and connect with others in fun, meaningful ways!
Taylor Shannik, MS, BCBA

Meet Taylor!

Taylor is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst with a Master’s in Behaviour Analysis Practice from the Florida Institute of Technology. Since 2017, she’s been supporting school-aged kids and young adults, helping them thrive at home and in the community.
Taylor provides home-based interventions across the Lower Mainland and runs social skills groups with So Social, under the supervision of Jenny Sojat.
Taylor is passionate about making a positive impact and loves helping families build skills for success!

Maria Pedraza-Kercher, BCaBA
Meet Maria!
​
Maria graduated with an undergraduate degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis (Autism) from Capillano University in 2023 and became a Board Certified Assistant Behaviour Analyst last year. She’s worked under Nikki Fung, MS, BCBA for the past three years, helping young children with the ESDM model and supporting school-aged kids with social skills.
Since 2020, Maria has been working with families, providing home-based interventions and making a real impact in the community!

Meet Bryn!

Bryn is in her fourth year of studying Applied Behaviour Analysis (Autism) at Capillano University and plans to sit for the BCaBA exam in 2025. With 6 years of experience in both home and clinic-based teams, she’s worked primarily with early learners under 8. Bryn has been supervised by Nikki, focusing on the ESDM model to help early learners thrive.

Bryn is passionate about helping kids find their voice, advocate for themselves, and embrace the values that matter most to them. She’s excited for a week full of connection, growth, and fun!
